My name is Rachel Banister. I am a mom of two precious children, Reese & Logan. My husband, Matthew, and I have been married for 7 years! We met our freshman year of college at TAMU.
I am a junior high teacher in Katy, and this fall will mark my 9th year as a teacher in KISD! I love my job and the time it allows me with my children.
I am taking a break from teaching English this year, and I am venturing into the world of THEATRE!!
My husband is an Assistant District Attorney for Fort Bend County. Between our two jobs, we never have dull conversation at the dinner table! Our kiddos keep us very busy. Reese loves to dance, sing, watch Star Wars, loves princesses, and loves to take pictures! Logan love hitting anything, singing, throwing, playing in dirt, and annoying his big sister! They both have fabulous personalities and I love them to pieces!
In December of 2010, my husband bought me a camera. It was my first time owning a quality camera, and I fell in love with it right away. By March of that year, I started taking pictures, figuring out software, and doing sessions for friends...and the rest is history! I enjoy capturing moments not only for my family, but for other families as well.
